With plans to change the bushings and mounts for the S2000, I found Hardrace Engine & Transmission mounts to be available from a local garage namedly BMS Motorsports Pte Ltd, all the way up north of Singapore. After a month of wait, the items finally arrived and installation was done without any issues.

I opted for the S2000 Hardrace Engine & Transmission Racing Version mounts (6612) as was advised by Ke Wei. According to him, he has had it in his previously owned S2000 and even though it was stiffer the vibrations were toleratable.

The old engine mounts seems, once out, seems to be quite degraded as per picture above. Though I would say that they were still functioning pretty well given the years it has been supporting the engine.
How was the feel of the car once installed?
Initially there was quite noticeable vibration throughout the car with rattling from the dashboards, pedals, shifter and hood area behind the seats. There was also a noticable pitch when the engine revs and exhaust note with jarring vibration at the lower rpms.
After driving around a bit, the vibrations and rattling seems to have gone away, most likely due to the mounts “bedding in” with the car. The noticable pitch from the engine rev and exhaust still lingers, which worries me, so maybe I will need to get that checked out. Feeling wise, in normal driving, the car does feel more composed in a way.
Believe next will be new tyres and alignment for the car.
